Kayaking
has always been a passion for us and this store is an extension of
that passion.We
do what we sell!We
love to try out new boats and having a shop gives us a chance to do this.
By trying
the new boats and gear we can better advice fellow paddlers on
their choice.One
of the nice things about a kayak is their ease of transporting them.
Many
kayaks weight around 50 lbs. some as light as 34 lbs. They can be
easily handled
by just one person. You can put them in the back of your
pickup or strap them
on the top of your car.Kayaks can be used in very low water, which is especially
important in the summer when the waterways can get low.Before you buy, ask yourself
these questions:
Where
am I going to do most of my paddling? (lakes, rivers, streams,
whitewater)
How many people will be going with me? (friend, child or your dog)
Will
I use it, for day trips or longer trips?
If using it for a extend trip
how much gear will you need to haul?
Will I use it for fishing, bird
watching, or just enjoying the great
outdoors?
